Haman's symposium to start Jan. 15

Reader comment on item: Future Surprises that Could Shock the World: A Symposium

Submitted by Michael S, Jan 14, 2017 at 17:51

It's interesting, that this symposium of great thinkers is looking ahead ten years. That's approximately the time frame I have in mind, for the end of the world as we now know it. My own two "shocker predictions" are:

1. [perhaps 2017?] An attack on Israel by Turkey, Iran, Sudan and E. Libya. Israel wins. This will be followed by a religious revival in Israel, during with offerings are made on the Temple Mount, and a start is made of rebuilding the Temple.

2. [2024?] The US President (not Donald Trump, but a much younger man) will demand that the offerings cease, and will begin a program of intense persecution of Jews and Christians.

Those would be "shockers", wouldn't you say?

REF:

1a. Ezek. 38:
[4] And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:
[5] Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:
[6] Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.
[7] Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.
[8] After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

1b, 2a. Rev. 11
[1] And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
[2] But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
[3] And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
[4] These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

2b: Rev. 12
[14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
[15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
[16] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.
[17] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

2c: Rev. 13
[15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
[16] And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
[17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
[18] Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

That is what I believe, and why I believe it. I consider the Jews and the Christians to be the "two witnesses". They will both be persecuted. Notice the "buy or sell" aspect of Rev. 13:17. Such a move would be facilitated by a cashless society, which we seem to be on the brink of (viz. India, etc.)

Now, I'll compare this with what you've said:

1. "Low-grade, civil insurrection" in Europe.

I expect Europe to fall in line behind Donald Trump, and his program. He promises to take the lead, on issues such as immigration and Islamic Terrorism. If his program succeeds, others will want to imitate it. We are already witnessing "low grade civil insurrection" on both continents, so you seem to be on track there.

2. The decline and fall of Islamism.

You predict it will be a gradual process, over the next ten years. I predict it will be a sudden event, with the defeat of Turkey and its allies.

We differ on details, then, but not too much.

Tomorrow, there will be a symposium not of the "great thinkers" of the world, but of its leaders. It's agenda is, in veiled terms, the destruction of Israel. I believe its organizer is one "Haman" (q.v.; not his real name). We'll see how he does.
