My ex-husband from Syria went to college with Bashir Assad in Damascus. My ex who claims to be a Sunni, ranted to my daughter now 21 yrs.old, when she was in about 7th or 8th grade, on how he was against the regime. He had some nuclear physicist call her on the phone when she was writing a paper at school about Syria.
It is terrifying to see the brainwashing of young children when they are so impressionable.
I personally don't understand the politics of it all, and only know facts that have happened to my children and I.
