Reader comment on item: Radical Islam creates terrorism

Submitted by Vishu Menon (Hong Kong), Mar 23, 2016 at 23:33

"That leaves Cruz. I generally agree with his views and consider him a fine human being." - Does this mean that you agree with Ted Cruz's campaign support to Pastor Mike Bickle who has praised Hitler as a Jew Hunter, that those Jews who do not accept Jesus as their savior will be eliminated, and that "before Jesus' coming, "a significant number of Jews will be in work camps, prison camps or death camps."?

You might also have noted that Ted Cruz embraced Preacher Ken Swanson who suggested executing all Girl Scouts (by drowning with a boulder tied to their neck) for supporting LGBT? Or perhaps you have no objection to that?

Has it ever occurred to you that just as a religious extremist (though he pretends to have become secular) at the helm is causing much mayhem in India; the victory of Ted Cruz (if the impossible happens) would unleash religious bigotry and carnage not only against the ordinarily peaceful Muslims, but also against the few remaining Jews (who win Nobel prizes for the United States) and for Blacks (who win gold medals for the same ingrates)?

If Republicans can only find an uncouth Trump and a Christian bigot Cruz to choose from, isn't it better to go for the lesser of the three evils - a Democrat?

It means I like Cruz' positions in general, not your distortion of them.
