This article reminds me of an old story about William Tweed (Boss Tweed), who was a crooked, though influential politician in NYC in the 1800s. He ordered his henchmen to stop those cartoons in the newspapers saying most of my constituents either can't or won't read, but they can see pictures!

Perhaps those Muslims bent on violence can't read either!
