Comment on the work of Ms.Nur Bilge Criss

Reader comment on item: Istanbul under Allied Occupation, 1918-1923

Submitted by anila kopali (Albania), Nov 2, 2014 at 01:12

A splendid work, which enlightens a part of the story, which for many reasons, might be forgotten and not considered, especially by young people in Turkey and all over the region.

It is impressive the cruelty by which British alleys have treated Turkish people and their national sentiments in those years. I think British politics still underestimates the big evolution of Turkey, already becoming a very strong economic and political power in the Region.

I express my best compliments to the Author!
