How much of this is due to competitors subsidizing agriculture to such an extent, that they sell their products cheaper, than these farmers?

We might as well identify the whole mess, because anything partially identified is like partially cleansing a wound.

No, it is primarily due to bad policies started 50 years ago by Nasser.
