Erdogan and his thugs may not take over New York City, but they certainly have their eyes on Syria:

ISTANBUL: Turkish troops could be used to help set up a secure zone in Syria, if there was an international agreement to establish such a haven for refugees fleeing Islamic State fighters, President Tayyip Erdogan said in comments published on Saturday...

I've been waiting for this to happen -- the beginning of the Turkish takeover of northern Syria and Iraq. Ezekiel 38-39 gets closer by the day.

Turkey's intentions are not peaceful. If they wanted peace, they would agree to an end to their war against the Kurds in their own country, and supply weapons to the Kurds in Syria -- who are perfectly willing to fight ISIS on their own, without risking one Turkish life. The Turks, instead, want to militarily intervene, as they did in Cyprus in 1974, and oppose ALL the people of the area: Kurds, Sunni Arabs and Shi'ite Arabs. This is Ottoman Imperialism near its extreme.
