Kick Turkey Out of NATO

Reader comment on item: Erdo─čan Does Nothing But Make Mistakes

Submitted by Dave (United States), Apr 16, 2014 at 10:35

Turkey is only the latest manifestation of the degradation of the Islamic countries into barbaric, autocratic and often chaotic messes. This may have to do with gradual demographic changes favoring the more primitive sectors of society, as more educated people tend to have smaller families. The result in Turkey has been the death of Kemalism.

I found Erdogan's angry and vindictive responses to his party's latest local election successes totally appalling. The idea that US servicemen would ever put themselves at risk on behalf of such a country would be a betrayal of our core civilizational values.
