"Who needs you?" a potential startup donor asked.

"What would we do without you?" is more like it.

Congratulations, Daniel, on providing information I can always trust, but rarely find elsewhere. As an academic, I've relied on Winfield Myers more times than I can count to learn about worrisome policies and incidents on campuses in the states where I taught and lived.

Much as I wish this Forum weren't needed, it is and it will be. Here's to however many years remain until a juster, better world will allow you rest.
