I DISAGREE

Reader comment on item: Obama's Foreign Fiasco

Submitted by Joseph Mamelak (United States), Aug 22, 2013 at 10:41

I believe that President Obama is correct insisting on USA disengagement from conflicts. I don't believe that his reluctance to get into new fights is a sign of cowardice or disservice to the USA. Obama might be more inclined than others to trust Moslems and rely on their goodwill , partly because of his early life in Moslem society.. This likely led him to the Cairo speech , fights with Nathanyahu regarding Israeli expansion into the West Bank , etc.. But every one should be thankful for his reluctance to get into scraps which always result in loss of life and treasure.
