IRAN WILL REMAIN IRAN

Reader comment on item: Rooting for Jalili

Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), Jun 14, 2013 at 16:43

WHAT YOU ARE SAYING IS ""BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW THAN THE DEVIL YOU DON'T""

However , you and I know that it is the Supreme leader Khamenei who pulls the ropes, no matter who the new leader is, he has already been anointed by him.

It seems that the actual STATUS-QUO stands and does not bother anyone until it is proven that they indeed have produced a nuclear bomb. AND THEN WHAT? Does the world know what to do? I doubt it

Iran will continue to be the world's trouble maker, IT SEEMS TO BE THEIR MODUS VIVENDI for the world to know they exist

The best to you

Daniel Pipes replies:

No, I am not saying that about the devils one knows and those one does not know. I am saying better the overt devil than the covert one.
