What's in a Name?

Well, it seems to me that between roughly 1000-900 B.C., the land was called Israel while ruled by David and Solomon, then split into states called Israel and Judah. When the Romans pacified the country in 70 A.D., they commemorated the event by striking a coin with the legend Judaea Capta (captive Judaea).
