Reader comment on item: Debate about possible war between Israel and Hamas

Submitted by Nick Wiesenfeld (United States), Nov 13, 2012 at 16:46

I would suggest that you (Daniel) avoid participating in any future vitriolic 'discussion' . What can you ever hope to accomplish? The man in Gaza talks of thousands of Palestinian children being killed. Is this an accurate charge? I was disappointed that you got caught in a numbers game. Yesterday I heard an interview on the Dennis Prager show with a Muslim Pakistani (born in England). I believe his name is Kasim Hafeez (or something that sounds like that). He mentioned a quotation that he heard from his father. It goes something like "I regret more than anything the fact that Hitler didn't kill all the Jews". This son is now estranged from his father and many of his family that continue to carry their hatred of Jews as a badge. When confronted with the sort you just did, I would hope that you direct comments that will reveal their despicable character. They are useless human beings, not worth a half second of anyone's time.
