Arab-Israel Conflict

Reader comment on item: Debate about possible war between Israel and Hamas

Submitted by Ilbert A. Phillips (United States), Nov 13, 2012 at 15:35

I will never understand how these pro-Palestinian gentlemen can justify rockets being sent to Israel, regardless of whether there is death or injuries or not.l The fact that they are ineffective in terms of the number of Israelis being killed is irrelevant. Palestine is not under military occupation. The Arabs do not own this land.

The Israelis abandoned Gaza in hopes there would be peace. Hamas has refused to agree to peace and makes it clear they do not want peace. The Palestinians conveniently forget that there is no original crime. Only the Arabs believe that they can start a war and not have its population suffer consequences.
