A DOUBTFUL ISLAMIST UNITY

Reader comment on item: Islamism's Unity in Tunisia

Submitted by JACQUES HADIDA (United States), Nov 1, 2012 at 13:13

How can we speak of unity within the Arab world, when we see them daily killing one another every day.

Sadly, their unity may only occur in their hate of Israel and the Jews. Also when you consider their own divisions from the Suni to the Shia to the Salafist, the Jihadist, the Radical, the Moderate (if any) how can one think of a unity? Oh yes, they are united when in Mosques they curse the Jews in unison encouraged by their iman, all replying Amen, starting with Morsi.

The palestinian situation by itself shows a lack of unity , when Hamas and Fatah cannot get along within themselves, how can you expect them to deal with Israel.

Their own agenda varies from country to country and you cannot compare Saudi Arabia to Morocco. They cannot even get along with an Arab United Nations representative to solve the Siryan crisis.

Sorry but unity is a dream
