Foolish Hopes

Trust Assad? surely you jest, and if you're foolish enough to do so, how much longer will Assad be able to control Syria? just look at Egypt, a regime change occurs, and the new kid on the block wants to back out of a treaty that has kept the peace for how long now? and to get this treaty, Israel gave up a huge chunk of buffer area. what does Israel do if treaty is just dropped. give back Golan and the same thing will happen. you trust Assad, he's deposed. what comes after? the new kids on the block will just back out of any treaty, and revert back to the policies of pre1967.
