in response to reader comment: What about State?

PSST… Every student of political anthropology knows that the left vis-à-vis the right and/or the moderates versus the neo-cons is nothing more than the propagation of a fallacy or nothing more than the notion of a boogey man in the closet – or the notion of a deficit as a pretense to privatize the public sector by turning everything into a for-profit commodity with disastrous consequences of having commodity bubbles explode. So much for a balance between the public and private sectors, where each keeps the other in check.

If you want to really know what is actually happening, "follow the money" … as the saying goes. Repeating so-called extremist right wing or leftist liberal ideological mantras and slogans only obscures and obfuscates the facts. By repeating these slogans, mantras and conspiracy theories like a parrot suffocated by its owner's insistence on blowing weed smoke continually into its face on a 24/7 basis, only obfuscates and blurs reality.

I would begin with the lucrative military defense contracts from the start of the Bush/Cheney regime. Remember, those are your tax dollars. Everyone pays taxes. After all, bridge and road tolls continue to rise exponentially – and those, my friends, are taxes. Every time you purchase petrol for your vehicle's tank, you pay taxes. Every time you purchase a car or SUV, you pay taxes. If you own a home, you pay property taxes. In those states, where there is no income tax, your property taxes are much higher to compensate for the lack of a state income tax. The wealthy can lower their property tax burden by declaring their estates as farms. That's a nice trick, isn't it? Those of you fortunate to own a home, which is at least $1 million, will receive a tax rebate, thanks to the Bush/Cheney regime. If you happen to be one of those white-collar professionals in the middle to upper middle-class, who pays one of the highest percentage brackets toward taxes, you owe it to your wealthy neighbors, who are much more entitled than you and deserve many more entitlements to evade taxes. After all, we are obligated to lower the deficit, even though the Bush/Cheney administration and their GOP supporters in the U.S. Congress raised the deficit eight (8) times – and yes, Ryan voted to raise the deficit each time. Go figure? If Romney is elected, watch how fast the deficit seems to disappear out of thin air. Nevertheless, all of the programs for the middle to upper middle-class will disappear regardless of how fast the deficit miraculously disappears under a Romney/Ryan administration. Please follow the money to determine who is, in fact, determining and promoting policies, polemics, and the necessary ideology to actually propel everything in motion. Repeating slogans and mantras like a doped parrot only enables and facilitates those, who are actually working against you. Don't be a stooge! Think! The problem with too many Americans is the very fact that they want to be entertained. In their quest for immediate gratification, too many Americans have lost their ability to distinguish between factual news and entertaining commentary, where the mantras, slogans, and conspiracy theories are most propagated.
