The epitome of corruption and thievery

Reader comment on item: Lessening UNRWA's Damage

Submitted by Stas (Ukraine), Jul 13, 2012 at 03:04

UNRWA is a shameful arm of the otherwise relatively respectable UN body. The thousands of employees who milk monies out of donated funds to create a mini nation into itself, built from bureaucracy and deception, would be better served by being employed within the Palestinian community and helping to actually build something, grow something, develop something out of all the money and donations, rather than keep them on the hook for handouts that are barely even making it down to the population. I have seen the photos of the lavish villas and pools inhabited by the Palestinian Authority officials.
