Why is the US President commenting on comic books?

While in office Obama shouldn't be commenting positively or otherwise on comic books. Especially ones that are religious. The correct response to questions about such things would be "I haven't read them."

If by some weird sequence of events he actually has read them himself he might say "I enjoyed reading them, but will have no official comment on any comic book, religious or otherwise."
