Israel vs. Iran

Reader comment on item: Israel vs. Iran

One important thing that should be mentioned is that in the bombings of both the Iraq and Syrian nuclear facilities both countries were at declared war against Israel and under the "Rules of War" when one country is developing weaponry, the other country is legally permitted to take military action----and Israel did. This is why there were no serious UN reprisals against Israel except for the usual and meaningless resolution. However, there is no declared state of war between Iran and Israel and any military action by either party will force the UN to institute reprisal upon the aggressor not to mention what a war between Iran and Israel would mean to the world economy.
