Dr. Pipes, you show yourself a "big" man in your granting space to Dr. Jasser's respectful dissent. I certainly feel a lot of sympathy for how Dr. Jasser feels, since he probably has relatives in harm's way, and I agree 100% with him that the Assad regime is a horror. However, when you say you can't see individual rights and liberty arising in Syria, you have made a sober assessment, and, as far as I'm concerned, have won the argument.
