Communists and Islamists, a similar strategy

Reader comment on item: [American Muslim Group for Policy Planning;] Another "Moderate" Muslim Group

Submitted by John Yerkes (United States), Dec 29, 2004 at 22:49

I have enjoyed reading your latest info on the Wahhabi lobby and your "test". It is very clear thinking. I am particularly unhappy to see Joel Beinin continuing on at Stanford, my alma mater. However, the thought occurs to me while reading that the Islamists are using the same plan the Communists did. First become teachers and infiltrate America's school system, right up to the University. Many Communists (now called Socialists or Leftists) are running (ruining?) our public school system, and it is hard to see how we can back out of the situation. Beinin at Stanford is a good example of someone who "must be right" look where he is working. Most people think of Stanford as a private school. Academics should be trained to "seek the truth" whether it is Art History or Engineering. Where is Ronald Reagan when we need him?
