Sarah, you are either ignorant of the facts or twisting the facts.

The Jews who remained during the Roman expulsion are the ancestors of the Arab Palestinians Jews, Christians or Muslims, they converted to Christianity and Islam, small numbers remained Jews - read history

The Palestinians are a mixture of those who remained and generation after generation they became Arabs during centuries of mixing with the Arabs around them, so the Jews who were living in Palestine during the British Mandate and during the creation of the Zionist state ARE ARABS, they have the same culture, the same dress, the same food, the same habits, the same language ARABIC.

The so called Zionists started to flock at the end of the 19th century from Europe and increased by force with the help of the British.

In 1870 there were 370,000 Arab Palestinians (Jews, Christians and Muslims) and 7,000 European Zionists (in settlements sponsored by Russia)

1918 after Britain colonized Palestine there was 600,000 Palestinian compared to 80,000 Zionists secretly sneaked and were on the increase until 1948 by the help of the British forces in Palestine.

in 1948 there was 1.4 million unarmed Palestinians compared to 650,000 Zionists (mostly non-Semitic or of Arabic origins)

In 1949 after the declaration of the new Zionist state there was only 450,000 Palestinian compare to 1.5 million Zionist settlers - notice the numbers of Palestinians and Zionists before 1948 and after in 1949

Search the internet you will find many sites displaying Palestinian coins and stamps as early as 1920. The Zionists are trying to steal the culture of the Palestinians, claiming the Falafel, Humus, national dress to be theirs, but who are they fooling, no one but an ignorant would fall for their tricks like Gingrich.

The Palestinian pride, culture will remain long after the Zionist state is erased from the face of Earth. Those who are Arab Jews, Christians and Muslims who lived in harmony for centuries before the British came (divide and conquer) and the corrupt Zionists, those will remain in the land and the rest will vanish.

You have your history class wrong, because the Jews never ever referred to themselves Palestinians, they always called the land Judah And Samaria, not Palestina or Palestine or …., Byzantine and Rome called the Area Palestine whether the Jews like it or not and by force. And from Judah came the name Jew
