About as secular as the UK

Reader comment on item: Egypt's Sham Election
in response to reader comment: Israel is NOT secular.

So, am I to understand that all non-Jewish people in Israel have to obey Jewish law? No independent judiciary? All must observe Jewish holidays (like in Muslim countries where non-Muslims "hurt the feelings" of Muslims if they eat anything before sundown during Ramadan)? Really? Golly, I didn't know that.

Israel is the only country in the middle east where Ahmadi Muslims can live and attend mosques in safety. That's because it's a non-secular Jewish state? Really?

Muslims in israel vote, are elected to the Knesset and appointed to the judiciary. Because Israel is a non-secular Jewish state? Really? That's very interesting. i learn so much from you, Amin.
