More aware, but still not enough ...

Reader comment on item: What I Remember: That Unforgettable Morning

Submitted by kman (United States), Sep 9, 2011 at 22:19

The majority of the American public still strikes me as dumb, stupid, and hopelessly ignorant. I've been monitoring a number of "conservative" forums off and on, and am still bewildered at the rampant ignorance on almost any topic especially choosing a conservative presidential candidate.

Most Americans just don't want to bother putting in the time away from football, golf, boob tube fantasies, basketball, golf, RV'ing - did I mention golf? Most are afraid to face reality because it is so ugly. Not facing the reality of the American population's indifference and such is almost as dangerous.

The Muslims are getting a little bad press, but not near enough to counter the politically correct leftist/Marxist media.
