"This baffles me, as my talks have nothing to do with cooking and I have not appeared on HBO, so how could either party claim copyright infringement?" - Daniel Pipes

Because the copyright infringement claims have nothing to do with the video about you. This happens all the time. The YouTube account in question likely uploaded tens, hundreds, even thousands of videos, of which at least three received infringement notices compelling YouTube to shut down the account. As a result, all the other videos on the account are lost due to those three unrelated claims.

So problem solved. Be baffled no more. ...
