Reader comment on item: Republicans Are Inconsistent with Obama, But Democrats Are Hypocritical
in response to reader comment: Party politics as usual

Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Jul 13, 2011 at 10:31

I've been a registered Democrat for more than 50 years and I've never been more ashamed of the Democratic Party as I am today. They have sold out the interests of the country, by screaming support for illegal immigration, to buy votes and stay in power even if the country goes broke. They've lied to their constiuents about the stimulus and how it would fix everything from creating jobs, employment and saving financial institutions. Obama's crony capitaiism is as vile as socialism and Marxism. They crucified George Bush but Obama produces a phony birth certificate, hides his past, loses his law license and they baptize him ... the new messiah

The Republicans are wimps. They cave in on everything because they're afraid of being called racists, obstructionists and stupid. The Speaker of the House cries if the sun doesn't shine. They talk tough but act weak. The president snaps his fingers and the GOP quakes. Her bows to every two bit dictator he meets, gets hysterical if the Israelis build a few apartments on the West Bank, sucks up to the Russians caving on a nuclear reduction treaty so he could say ... "I reduced nuclear weapons. The world is safer. Obama is on the job!!!" The Russians see a weak, naive and not very smart leader with a big and needy ego. It's surprising they haven't sold him Chernobyl.

When are we going to get the kind of smarts and opposition offered by the thrifty money saving small government of the wonderful Mr. Christie. When will we get the kind of brilliance and toughess of a world class statesmen like Mr. Netanyahu. Okay, okay I'm insanely jealous. He could pretend to be born in America, hide his past, bury his transcripts at MIT, deny he was Israeli PM and change his name to say .... Dave Beckham or Josh Hartnett. I wouldn't mind a down to earth and super smart Mr. Sarkosy. I'd even settle for William and Kate ... at least their patriotic and good looking.

We've lost our political minds, our common sense, our need for the truth and our courage. We settled for an Islamist loving Chicken Little and his "skyfalling administration" who cannot stop looting the treasury, printing money, selling out our allies and bringing Islamofascist enemy combatant terrorists to New York City for show trials.
