I see no legitimate reason for the U.S. intervening in a civil war. It is an illegal war and all involved should hang.

The general principle of revolutions is that the government in power attempts to crush the rebellion and those involved are executed. If the revolution succeeds however, the new government dispatches the prior leadership and often many of their followers.

That is how things work. It was the situation in the U.S. during the revolt from England. To call revolutionaries "civilians" is a misuse of the English Language ...
