Well, creating and arming the Afghan jihadism turned out to be evil in the long run (anyone who still remembers 9/11 will agree, I presume) but it did serve some short-term US interests. I guess the same logic applies here. The US-sponsored Palestine Moselm legion serves some short term pro-Islamic US agenda. In the long run it will be a disaster of course but nobody will be made accountable for that in 10-15 years when Palestinian militiamen will bomb teh White House e.g. Brzezinski despite his hateful role in arming jihadists and 9/11 is not in jail, nay he is Obama's darling with the cheek to defend his old evil actions in public.
