To Prof Pipes: My thought is Iranians (Persians) are not ArabReader comment on item: Some Common Sense in Egypt and Saudi Arabia Submitted by Lady (Indonesia), Dec 25, 2009 at 09:14 Dear Prof Pipes, I am not an expert in this field, but I love to know more about this global Middle east problems. Please let me write my personal view. From the figure above, there was certain percentage of Egyptians and saudians revealed their idea to agree to attack Iran. Seventy percents (17%) egyptian and 25% of saudian agreed to attack Iran CONDUCT BY ISRAELI, while 25% Egyptians and 35% Saudian agreed to attach Iran CONDUCT BY AMERICAN. Meaning around 17-25% Egyptian and 25-35% Saudian agreed to attack Iran, BUT WITH CONDITION THAT THE ATTACK CONDUCT BY ISRAELI OR USA TO FINISH THE JOB. This probably means, only maximum 35% of Arabs (represent by Egyptian and Saudian) agreed to attack Iran. My question is: The figure that maximum 35% of Arab agreed to attack Iran, that means the rest majority of 65%?DO NOT agree to attack Iran, what is the reason for their disagreement??? The same religion? Or scare of vast war in the region conducting by non muslims? My consideration is: If the main reason of the group of maximum 35% agreed to attack Iran by USA or Israeli just because Arab want to defeat their old enemy of Persian. Thats means, Arabs just use non muslims soldiers to defeat their old enemy who is Persians? Means, Arabs just want to have clean hands and let the dirty work conduct by non muslims? I never heard in the news that persians encourage "suicide bombers" who make us to have head ache everywhere including in my own country of Indonesia. Where the tendency of those "Suicide Bomber" idea come from? Is it from Persians or from Arabs? I also not hear yet in the news, that Persians try hard to establish their Shia "Shariah" attempt outside of the Middle East as what I hear they try to do it in Iran??? I do not know Prof Pipes, please let me know if I am wrong. Don't you think that we must separate those Arab problems and Iran problems? I guess this polls is too early result to give a prospect figure in order to help the decision to attack Iran or not. Regarding Persian aim to rule Middle East as they did in the past, Don't you think USA and Israel do not jump into Arab trap to help those Arab to defeat their old enemy using other people hands? Then let those persians deal with their failure theology state by themself. Remember the Persians youth now fed up with the Shia theology state system? Once in 1967 those Arabs states gathering together to prepare to attack israel??? Did Iran joined those band of Arab soldiers to attack Israel? Do you think those Arabs will not do it again? Considering 65% of them do not agree to attack Iran? Considering only 26% of Egyptian and 9% of Saudian accepted Israel state??? What the rest of 74% Egyptian and 99.1% of Saudia thinking about Israel state? They DO NOT ACCEPT Israel to exist right? Don't you think when once USA or Israel attack Iran, only with one single bullet... Then those majority of Egyptian and Saudian will turn their back against USA or Israeli and sided to Persians, on behalf of muslim brotherhood??? Please Prof Pipes kindly reply me, so I can have a clue about this matter. Thank you.
