P C Mani, this is the most -- in fact, the only -- intelligent defense I've read of the Nobel Committee's decision. Though I don't agree with the award, good for you and thank you.

The award might have been better received if the Committee had said what you've said. Their own "flower child" explanation offends the sensibility of adults.
