THE REAL REASONSReader comment on item: Faces of American Islam[: Muslim Immigrants] Submitted by mariaha_13 (Canada), Apr 9, 2009 at 11:53 While I will grant that there are some that truly want to get away from a variety of problems in their home countries I do not see reason for the rest of the world to be their rescue. When any country evolves it is because the citizens of those countries work for that to happen. The first thing these people do is run. Once here, legal or under any other way, and they have the chance to not live as they were they refuse. For the most part, they dress, behave, and follow the very same laws that they, supposedly, were trying to get out from under. And then there are the 'refugee;s'. What ever! Their respective countries will never get any better for having their people running away to any coutry they can. They are the ONLY ones that can change how they live. Then, of course, we have the 'political asylum's' that we save from themselves. How ridiculous is that? Here's a guy that has gotten himself into deep caca's with the government of his country and, rather than face the music, we take him in?! Like we need that kind of person here! The ONLY sensible thing to do is to close North American borders, all of North America, deport all that are here, (that would half enpty our jails), and let them sort out their own mess. That they dream of a WORLD under their twisted, psychotic, hate filled, and violent religion called Islamic/muslim rule is INSANE! They can't even do it in their own countries and yet they want to destory us as well. They aren't even smart enough to see that if they were to manage such a thing here would be NO DIFFERENT than it is there now. They are so far behind the times that it will take thousands of years for them to evolve to the level of most of the rest of the world. Submitting....
