I tried to make a point when i pointed out to your "goofy" mistake. The point is that I can say this is someone "deceiving", "twisting the truth" or "a liar" , or simply say this is just a mistake. In my case, a hollywood scenario was made where in reality few immigrants violated the law, a violation ends up in a fine in normal situation.

I have no problem answering your question if you can handle the answers.
Q. "Who's paying the jewish lawyer trying to get your brothers sentence reduced?"
A. The lawyer was hired first then became a public defender due to the lack of money.
Q. "Is it Hezbollah?"
A. NO.
"I'd be willing to bet it is.." please don't.
"Still find it strange he had his first jewish lawyer replaced for the trial..." Nothing strange about it. Mohamad was shocked, as all of us, of what was going on and he didn't know who to trust. My brother was concerned that his lawyer might be part of the conspiracy and was working with the government. And beacause of the animosity between israel (Jewish state) and hezbollah (shia religion party), a legitimate concern was raised of whether it was a conflict of interest to have a jewish lawyer and a shia client.

"but works with this one" my sister-in-law made a lot of research and she found out that Mr. Cohen is a fine lawyer. He truly represent the client best interest. My sister-in-law used to send a lot of documnts about the lawyer profile and my brother made a judgement to hire him.
"Sorta makes me question what's happening here"
didn't get. apparently you are a smarter person than me, please let me know.
"but I don't expect the truth out of you, or the lawyer", I only say the truth and it doesn't matter whether you beleive it or not. It doesn't really makes any difference.
