Reader comment on item: Solving the "Palestinian Problem" [with the No-State Solution]
in response to reader comment: Its time for an honest appraisal of the situation

Submitted by Lynn (United States), Jan 8, 2009 at 10:10

Would it be an honest statement to say that the Jewish Tribes displacement was the Romans fault, or the Muslims fault, or the Arabs fault, or the Christians fault? And after the Tribes of Israel scattered throughout the world whose fault is it that they were hunted? I wonder what time in history we should go back to when referring to the displacement of a People. By building a mosque on top of the Temple who is making the Jewish G_d relevant in this situation? Is this simply a silly childish game of King of the Hill. By switching the names in this conflict between the Arabs and Israels, the Palastinians and Israels, the Muslims and the Israels, the Middle East and the Israels, who is not being honest?

To survive do the Israels only need to admit that Allah is the one and only G_d and Mohammad is his final prophet? Should they deny their Faith in G_d altogether and that faith's integral part in their history? Would that be the camel in the room that the Jewish People must swollow for them to find a home and raise their children in peace? I believe that until you see that this is a conflict between Islam and the Nation of Israel any discussion cannot be an honest one.
