A small point of light among the darkness

Reader comment on item: A Dutch Fissure in the Leftist-Islamist Alliance

Submitted by Duard Hamm (United States), Dec 31, 2008 at 19:59

I am overjoyed that some stirring from the sleep that Europe has been in is finally occurring. After reading Bruce Bawer's book the outlook was depressing. I am very elated that someone has come out for sanity and has finally grown a pair. I am a bit suprised that it was a woman, which is more ironic considering the position of women in Islam.

I know that this is only a small step toward Europe regaining its sanity, but as I have always heard "the journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step".

God bless the Dutch Union and more power to them. I will be praying for the success of their effort
