Two tribes of cannibals

Reader comment on item: Foreword: Ignoring the Palestinian Civil War

Submitted by Peter Herz (United States), Nov 12, 2008 at 07:10

Yasr Arafat was elected "leader" of the Palestinian people by the Communist and Third World Bloc in the United Nations, not by the people of Gaza, Nablus, Ramallah, etc. His organization has been a bloody-minded bunch of thugs from inception, so if it has spawned an equally bloody opposition, it's only a chicken coming home to roost. My advice to Bush's lame duck administration and Obama's new one is to let them slaughter each other.
