Aha!

Reader comment on item: Iran in Crisis

Submitted by P Krenkel (United States), Jul 23, 2002 at 09:26

Thank you again, Dr. Pipes, for another creative and potent piece. For those of us who were not particularly motivated history students, you continue to help us make up for those lost hours of "boredom" and thoughts of "this can't possibly relate to me..." And for those of us who think we are "well-read" on some of these subjects, you continue to trigger the light bulb of "aha!" -- what a new way of looking at this development.

In this column, once again, you have taken recent world events, relegated to a mere paragraph by most media, and crafted a piece that elucidates important implications for us all...and you make it look easy!

What a great way to start the day!

Thank you.
