Interesting.

I would say that journalism today is the worst in our nation's history since biased coverage of the Western frontier was popping up all over Eastern USA newspapers.

During the cold war, many Western journalists were pro-communist. Jason Lewis was talking about this on his radio show a few weeks ago, and he quoted Vladmir Lenin:

[Western journalists] who sympathize with our cause are useful idiots.
