Reader comment on item: Islamists Police the Classroom [at the University of South Florida]

Submitted by Phil Greend (Canada), Mar 30, 2008 at 13:52

Since there will be some muslim students in the class to make sure that islam is taught only in a " right" way, there should be other non muslim or even muslim students who make it there general purpose to ask " interesting" questions of the prof.

Things like " Professor could you please tell us if it is true or false the "prophet" mohammed at age 50 married a 6 year old child? ", or maybe " Professor we heard the "prophet" mohammed owned black slaves is this correct?.

Having a couple of students publicly just asking a few questions each class should keep things interesting to say the least, to say the most . . . honest.

There is a way to fight back against liars and bullies, that is with the truth and kindness.
