Huckabee, another man from Hope

Reader comment on item: Mike Huckabee's Unique Foreign Policy

Submitted by Jo Ellen Davey Cohen (United States), Dec 27, 2007 at 20:22

Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee's honemoon with the press is quickly fading. The novelty of his pandering to a particular audience has emphasized his less than diplomatic rhetorical skills. And, the Huckabee Hope bible thumping is highly offensive to all but a few of the true believers. Finally, his neon orange hunting jumpsuit and matching cap may be appealing to the 'Field and Stream' crowd, but is a sad testiment to his flawed perception of 'traditional' American values.
