I had come across a Corsican flag that depicts a black head on a white flag. after a bit of research I found out that this flag has a lot of history dating back to the 1000 AD as far as my limited research show. there are several different types of the moors black head flag the original had a black head with a crown. others have a black head with a blindfold over the eyes, some have four blackhead figure with a red cross seperating each head and the most resent has the blindfold over the forehead.

Some say the flag depicts four moor kings that were defeated during the Aragon wars, others say that the figure depicts Prestor John the fabled king of Ethiopia, others claim that the flag depicts St. Mourice, and still others say that it depicts Hannabal of Carthage. There has been some discussions re the flag on the Pope's coat of arms (each new pope designs their own coat of arms ) When the pope was asked about this symbol, he replied that he is not sure of the origins of the blackhead flag ( yea right!! )

Does this mean that Obama will be the first black pres' ( who will take the fall for america ) I think so. If anyone has any further info for me please email it to Steven_crooks@mac.com. for some reason i need to find out as much about this image a possible. check out the vatican's website to see his coat of arms.

Thank you
