Elites of all stripes and philosophies political,or religious share a common objective; authority, and power to exercise that authority. A mythology which has as a central dogma the 'obedience to authority' or 'submission' to whomever holds power and authority as the representive of a deity is too attractive a mythology for ruling elites to disintegrate.

The insistence on the "Religion of peace", "Hijacked" etc etc etc are elites efforts to maintain what is clearly not a 'religion' much less one of peace. The canon of writings, the interpretation of the mythology, the so called laws, all are unambigious as to the nature of the mythology, yet the elites refuse to accept what non elites see with such clarity, why? Because it is in the interest of the ruling elites to maintain and even embrace the dogma of obedience to authority.

The mythology is even more attractive than Judiasm, which is submissive to the Law, or Christianity which is submissive to the teachings of Jesus. This mythology simply requires 'Submission' to a deity, which is remote and undefined, and in practice to whomever possesses the power over the individual, ie the "Sword" of Muhammed. Islam provides elites the ultimate tools of power. Obedience without protest, submission without question, and unlimited power over individuals.

Is it any wonder why the mythology is never seriously challenged by elites, that we actually promote and insure the perpetuation of the mythology by political means, that the elites of Europe and America actively seek ways and means to expand the mythology onto trusting and naive populations. It is no accident that the practioneers of the mythology are granted status completely out of proportion to their numbers. I do not propose a conspiracy, it is simply the nature of power seeking and elitism.
