A Question on the Knights Templar

Reader comment on item: Knights Templar Trial Records Made Public – After Seven Centuries

Am I wrong or did the Knights Templar wind up in Prussia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and fight a war against Alexander Nevsky? Are they not the Order depicted in the Serge Eisenstein film? And did they not turn Lutheran?
