A believer's advice to Islamists
Reader comment on item: Islamist Advice to Jews

Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Jun 1, 2007 at 10:22

It always saddens me when the term "Christian" is used loosely. According to Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, the word "Christian" is only used three times. To lump together all non-Muslim, or non-Buddhists, or even non-Jews and any other religion into the term "Christian" is erroneous. A true believer knows what God has taught us, and that is that Israel will always be a huge part of God's plan for the ages.

In Genesis 12:vs. 2 and 3: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Also in Revelation concerning the new Jerusalem: Rev. 21:12: And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on the gates, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:. Israel and the Jewish people have always been at the center of God's heart, since Abram left Ur at God's command, and was given Canaan (Genesis 17:8). A true "Christian" will not hate the Jews or any other religions, but live in peace with them, not boastful, not hateful, but having a loving heart and coming to the knowledge that many of the prophetic books were proclaiming the coming of Yeshua Messiach. If the Islamists really believe that Christians are the enemies of the Jews, they had better reconsider their hatred of Jews and Christians and realise that one day we will all have to face God.
