Healthier, eh?Reader comment on item: Canadian Islam Is Healthier Submitted by J.S. (Canada), May 28, 2007 at 14:27 Sure. I suppose it all depends on how one defines "healthy." So, who do you think championed the introduction of Sharia law into Canada in the first place? Mother Theresa? Have you (conviently?) forgotten the riots at Concordia, the firebombings of synagogues and schools, the publication of hate material by imams, the existence of radical imams, the beating up of a newspaper publisher, etc. And, this represents "health"? And no doubt what Canada needs in your "opinion" is yet more Muslim immigrants -- already advocated by numerous groups. ... Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: Canadian Islam has plenty of problems, as you note. But at least there is a push-back by moderates, something one hardly finds elsewhere in the West. Comment on this item
