Reader comment on item: Arabs Confront Terrorism

Submitted by JB in Pgh (United States), May 27, 2003 at 11:08

The fact that the Arabs are denouncing ANY terrorism is amazing. The war in Iraq was the best thing to have happened in this world. It stirred the pot and now, no one can say they aren't aware of the problem. Whether they want to admit this is another story, but at least, it's out there now. The status quo is no longer acceptable, and maybe, the Arab street will wake up and see how it's been betrayed and lied to by the ones claiming to be their "leaders". Blaming the Jews and/or the United States will soon become passe, and the terrorists will be running for their own lives. The times are a changin', aren't they?
