From your review this short quote is the essence of the western dilemma: "to demonstrate to his countrymen how modern liberalism, in addition to its inherent problems, is particularly ill-suited for dealing with an increasingly assertive Muslim presence within Germany." How can one convince modern westerners that militant Islam is not just one of three great monothiestic religions but rather It is its own special case, and does not allow any other authority into Moslem lives? My thanks again, Daniel Pipes, for your unceasing efforts at detailing the truth to us.
