Ways to end the bloodshed?

Dear Dr. Pipes - great thoughts!

The massacres in Iraq should end ASAP - which is only possible if Iraq is properly governed by Iraqis. All support and help should be given to the innocent children and women. Why should they be punished like this? Where are those so-called policymakers - under the rocks? Why are the peace efforts taking such a long time?
