In this day of stupid political correctness we seem to be more concrened about not making some one feel bad than to protect our people. Why is it that we should not profile? It makes total sense that if you are associated with a group that has already proven it is a danger to us than there is a real possibility that those individuals could be a threat. You wouldn't go to a Baptist Church, Catholic Church or even a Jewish house of worship and expect to find Islamic Terrorists there.
Mr. Mayfield, although maybe not a terrorist, is a sympathetic person to their cause, and that shows bad judgement. These people unfortunately open themselves up for investigation and must be investigated to remove them from the list of possibilities. Not to pick on them but what in the heck are they thinking.
I have seen many articles where they say, I'm not involved with these things the terrorists are doing. But they also don't help to expose or eliminate the pockets of problems in their own comunities. So I feel, If youre not part of the solution, youre part of the problem. And they better become part of the solution or unfortunately if there is another 9-11, the backlash on them could be bad. And that is very sad to say since I really do believe the very large majority of the Muslim population are very good people.
