Apathy in Britain

Reader comment on item: British Muslims – A Global Threat

Submitted by michael c (United Kingdom), Sep 3, 2006 at 13:25

From where I live in West London, the police sirens have been non-stop for the last few days. Everything is on high alert again as more and more Islamists are detained by the Police. Yet much of Government policy conflicts with itself. Cohesion is now sought but faith schools, including islamic ones, allowed.

The foolish ghost of 'Captain Mannering' from 'Dads Army' seems to be in charge everywhere, from the airport to the Foreign office. Michael Gove MP is one of the few who does realise the urgency of the situation and I commend his book Celsius 7/7
